GrapeSeek was born in 1998 when we first purchased grapeseek dot com to create the world’s first search engine exclusively for the grape growing community. Up until that time, we were hosting a site at grapeguru dot com and answered questions about grape growing and small vineyard establishment. The “we” I’m referring to is myself (Michel White) and George G. Mead of Maryland, who had his own private vineyard and a personal webpage at erols.com.
