I am writting a paper on wine making in sub tropical areas.

Could you please tell me where are the main wineries, grapes growing and wine making regions in Tamil Nadu and State of Puducherry ?

Anandh,

The only one Winery permit issued by the Tamil Nadu Government at Cumbam. Now that region called Cumbam valley. As fas I know the process of wine making started. I am not sure when it will be available in the market.

 Thank you for answering me. Do you think that the legislation on wineries is also restrictive in Puducherry ?   I am wondering if the state laws prohibites the wineries and wine making ?
