India Rising:
Needless to mention the boom being witnessed by the Indian Hospitality Industry, the subcontinent showing a sustained growth of over 8%, the Commonwealth Games in year 2010.
With the continuing surge in tourist inflow, the sector offers tremendous opportunity for investors. While the estimated number of required hotel rooms in the country is around 240,000, the current availability is just 90,000 rooms - leaving a shortfall of 150,000 rooms to be provided.

The city enjoys the country’s highest Average Room Rentals (ARR) & higher room occupancy rate than the all-India average. The rush in the hospitality sector in Bengalure is on the rise with the names like Movenpick, Westin, JW Mariott, Hilton, Radisson and Shangri-La making Bengalure as the entry point for their Indian foray.
Many other fast food joints, retail chains, designer brands, hotel are in pipeline and with the existing hotels increasing the number of rooms, the city offers a huge scope in the sector .
