        I m very disappointed becoz i m not finding proper information  what to do & where to contact?

        I will be highly obalised if you could guide me the procedure.          

        1) Help me with the address of pune excise office or where to contact for wine shop licence.

        2)How to open the wine shop ,Financial investment(Cost of licence & material) ?

        3)Is it possible for me to open that shop in pune as we come to now that maharashtra govt.has stopped

          giving Wine shop licience.

Hi!

Getting a license for opening a shop which can sell only wines and beers is quite easy now due to a special license which is issued by Maharashtra State Excise. The fees for it vary as per the population of city and all the details can be obtained from any State Excie office.

Again there are two types of licenses in that. One allows us to sell sealed/pack bottles only and the other allows us to sell the wine loose also, that is the wine or beer can be served there.

Now about the wine shops that we see everywhere which sell whisky, rum, beer, vodka and also wines are different licenses FL-II and the Excise department does not issue this kind of licenses. The only way is to purchase an old license and start a shop. But we can hardly find someone who wants to sell a wine shop license. Also if there is license to be sold then the cost is very high.
