Recently we had a ADEPTA sponsored french delegation comprising of representatives of vine nurseries, wine equipment manufacturers, wine additives, barrel makers and bag-in-box packaging manufacturers visiting India from 22 - 27 Oct '07.
Two seminars were organised, one at Pune on 23 Oct and the other at Nasik on 25 Oct wherein the visiting delegates made their presentations followed by one-to-one business meetings.
Visits to 11 wineries in and around Pune and Nasik region also formed part of the programme, where the French delegates had wine tasting sessions.
The whole purpose of this event was to have first hand information about Indian wine industry and forge business ties between Indian and French wine players. The event was in association with the Grape Grower's Federation of India, Pune and Nasik Valley Wine Association, Nasik actively supported by the Embassy of France in New Delhi. Greencore, Pune happens to be event managers.
